I wonder what works for you better. Is it directory submission? Or Article submission?

They both work , depending on what your site is about , they help get backlinks to your site what get your loads of backlinks in google and brings in traffic.

Directory submission works. I am not sure about DMOZ as it rejects new blogs,forums. So you need traffic before you apply to directories.
